About your Behavior Analysts

Maryellen Rowell MA, BCBA, LABA

Maryellen is the owner and founder of Mayflower Early ABA Services. She is a Board Certified and Licensed Behavior Analyst (BCBA, LABA) in Massachusetts.  

Maryellen earned a bachelor's degree in Early Education and Care (EEC) and Art from Bridgewater State University and a Master's degree in Professional Applied Behavior Analysis from Florida Institute of Technology (FIT).

Since childhood, Maryellen has had a passion for working with children. She now focuses on helping individuals with special needs and other challenges reach their full potential. She is deeply committed to supporting parents of young children who struggle with behavioral, social, and communication challenges.

Maryellen holds a Director 2, EEC Professional Certification in Massachusetts. She is Certified at Level 2 in PFA/SBT (Practical Functional Assessment and Skill Based Treatment) implementation for the treatment of severe problem behavior. She holds a PRT® Certification, (Pivotal Response Treatment) a naturalistic intervention model derived from Applied Behavior Analysis . 

Her interest include Acceptance and Commitment Therapy or Training (ACT). She specializes in Early Intervention (E/I) naturalistic teaching (NET) to evoking verbal behavior in young children.

Beyond her professional pursuits, she is a wife and mom of three children.
