Maryellen Rowell, MA, BCBA, LABA, is the Owner and Clinical Director of Mayflower Early ABA Services. She is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst and Licensed Applied Behavior Analyst in Massachusetts.

Maryellen earned her bachelor’s degree in Early Education and Care and Art from Bridgewater State University and her master’s degree in Professional Applied Behavior Analysis from the Florida Institute of Technology. With a lifelong passion for working with children, she has dedicated her career to helping children with autism build confidence, independence, and meaningful connections.

Maryellen believes the most meaningful progress happens when ABA is compassionate, individualized, evidence-based, and built on trusting relationships with children and their families. Her professional interests include compassionate and assent-based ABA, Acceptance and Commitment Training (ACT), and naturalistic approaches that honor each child’s individual strengths and interests. She is a Level 2 Implementer in Practical Functional Assessment and Skill-Based Treatment (PFA/SBT), certified in Pivotal Response Treatment (PRT®), and holds a Massachusetts Director II Early Education and Care Professional Certification.

Outside of Mayflower, Maryellen enjoys spending time with her family, arts and crafts, Pilates, and walks with her two dogs.
